WELCOME To Teen Scene!

SONEPCO's Account for Young Adults

We are excited about SONEPCO's Teen Scene account for Young Adults between the ages of 13 and 18! If you are a member of SONEPCO Federal Credit Union and you are between those ages, you are automatically a Teen Scene member.

As a credit union, our primary focus is on our membership ( those who have part ownership in the credit union, who save with us and borrow from us). Hey, we're a not-for-profit organization, so we've got to focus on something besides making gobs and gobs of money, right?

At SONEPCO, we want to help you achieve your financial dreams, but first, it's probably important that you learn the ropes.

SONEPCO is offering to our Teen Scene Members :

Student Checking Account with ATM/VISA check card - Ages 16+

This account will require completely reading our Checking Account Management Education packet, signing an affidavit and taking our checking account quiz. A Parent or Legal Guardian must serve as joint signer. Your first box of checks is free and the monthly service charge is waived, since you are a full time student.

Student Teen Scene Student Loan - Ages 13-18

This account will require completely reading our Loan/Credit Education packet, "Taking Responsibility", signing an affidavit and taking our Teen Scene Loan Quiz. A Parent or Legal Guardian must serve as joint signer.

Student Loan Limits:

Middle School Students $500.00

High School Students $1,000.00

Interest rate charged will be the Share Secured Loan rate.

The maximum duration shall be 18 months.

All loans will be co-signed by either a qualified sponsoring member or legal guardian.
