Summary:

The Regular Share account is the primary account that is required for membership in SONEPCO Federal Credit Union.  It is called a “Share” account because each member who has an active primary savings account has one “share” in the credit union and is entitled to one vote for elections of the credit union Board of Directors as well as any charter changes and other issues that may be brought to the membership for a vote.  As long as the account balance of $25.00 is maintained, a member remains a member in good standing regardless of the member’s employment status.  SONEPCO’s policy is “Once a Member, Always a Member”, and the Regular Share account gives members the privilege of membership and eligibility for all the Credit Union’s advantageous financial services for life.  Members may borrow against their Regular Share funds with a Share Secured loan without diminishing the dividend income on the account.

Product Features:

• Minimum deposit & balance requirement is $25.00 and a one-time fee of $1.
• Maximum withdrawals per month are six.
• Dividends are paid quarterly.
• Available to those who qualify for membership through one of our Select Employer Groups (SEGs) or relatives of the above.
• ATM access available.
• Direct Deposit or Payroll Deduction available.
• This account qualifies members to apply for all other products and services offered by SONEPCO.
• $1,000 Free Accident Insurance available to all members.
